"Emma" is a very beautiful solid brown female with a single white patch on her chest. She was imported from the renowned Wachtersbach kennel of Germany. Wachterbach, is a well respected kennel known for many years to produce fine hunting companions. "Emma" has a very pleasant disposition, she loves to be around people, other dogs, and especially children. "Emma" has a very graceful and methodical gate; it is a pleasure to watch her work a field. Her nose is excellent and she has the desire and drive to match. "Emma" is a very staunch and natural pointer on both fur and feather. Her abilities as a tracking dog are very useful. She is a well rounded and reliable retriver on both land and water. "Emma: has proven her self through the JGHV Testing Sytem, landing herself 4th place at the 2006 International Armbruster Championship. More importantly, she is a great hunting companion and she has proven herself time and time again on several different hunting excursions.
"The idea and reasoning behind this breeding is to produce dogs that will have good dispositions; dogs that are controllable; willing to hunt and please, and 'Break Out Like Gang-Busters' once they are properly introduced to things. I am hoping to see some of the positive results appear in the pups that have been proven by both the Sire and Dam. My goal is to build off of what we know has worked, and try to better the breed - and that is what we are supposed to do."
